Transmission Controls and Modelling

Calibration of a prototype transmission in the car
The development of automatic transmissions involves adapted transmission
controls and their in-vehicle application.
GIF develops control concepts by simulating the vehicle behaviour on the computer.
The calibration takes place with the simulation model, on the test bench and
in the vehicle.
GIF analyses all types of automatic transmissions such as stepped automatic transmissions,
continuously variable transmissions, twin-clutch transmissions, automated manual transmissions
and controlled transfer gear boxes.
