For the development and validation of brake systems test benches are available with an inertia of up to 8,100 kgm² and a stop brake torque of up to 30 kNm. Beside the standard tests with constant brake pressure, constant brake torque, mass simulation or temperature programs, also step profiles and even high dynamic tests such as simulation of racetracks or downhill driving can be performed. In addition to the flywheel mass test benches a test bench for the determination of the characteristic lines of brake cylinders is operated. Via a free programmable control and variable interfaces the test benches are individually adaptable to the test task and flexible. In cooperation with TÜV Süd Automotive GmbH tests according to the ECE specifications can be performed and certificates can be generated.
