During February 2010 the locations Alsdorf, Aachen and Wolfsburg as well as GRC in Suzhou, China were once more successfully certified.

The certification center TÜV CERT carried out a quality control and an environmental repeat audit and affirmed that GIF is applying a quality and environmental management system - established in 1994 - for:

• Development and testing of powertrain systems
• Measurement and automation
• Calculation
• Design and development of transmissions and transmission controls
• Vehicle testing
• Hot gas generators and thermal testing of exhaust systems and components and
• Development, production and assembly of special purpose machines and prototypes.

By the quality and environment audit of TÜV CERT evidence was provided that the quality system of GIF entirely fulfils all requirements of the quality standards DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 as well as the environmental standards DIN EN ISO 14001:2004.
