From the 21^st to the 23^rd of May 2008 this years' JSAE Automotive Engineering Exposition in Yokohama, Japan takes place. The exposition is sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE) and is the biggest Japanese technology exposition of the automotive industry. More than 380 exhibitors at 920 booths show newest products and services.

GIF presents this year' services and products in the fields of measurement technique, automation systems and transmission testing on booth number 207.

Parallel to the exposition a Congress takes place with leading original equipment manufacturers and suppliers lecturing on the issue automobile. Dr. Jan Schlipf, Manager of GIF, will be lecturing during 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the 23rd of May on the theme "Cone Ring Transmission: A Fuel Efficient CVT for Small Cars" in room 501 (presentation no. 362, session no. 74-08).
