GIF has extended its broad based spectrum of torque measuring flanges with the new F1is and F2is series.

The Fxis series unifies an excellent design with a high degree of performance and measuring accuracy. Despite a lot of new features the price advantage was extended compared to competitive products. By using the new design a speed range up to 25,000 rpm can be performed. The integrated speed measuring device (inductive) eliminates the need of additional speed sensors e.g. for shaft supervisions. Some features are mentioned as follows:

• Accuracy class up to 0.05
• Speed limit up to 25,000 rpm
• Fixed installed tough inductive speed measuring system
• Expandable with a high-resolution speed encoder
• Quintuple overload capability
• Real dynamic rate of the torque signal up to 8 kHz
• Windows start-up software TCUConfig
• High interference insensitivity via optical frequency transmission
• Voltage-, current-, frequency- (RS422) and CAN-output
• Alarm output for overload status and
• Transfer of the characteristic data (identification) for high process guaranty.

Due to the very high achieved integration density, by using the torque measuring flanges of the series F1is and F2is the client obtains a nearly self-installing and easy operating measuring tool without having to accept loss of measuring accuracy and dynamic or loss of comfort.
